Jew Bully

Derby Name: Jew Bully
What does your derby name mean to you: I’m a Jew and I make sure that others follow the rules, which can be misconstrued as bullying.  Hence, Jew Bully.
Favorite Position: Penalty Tracker
How you found out about roller derby: Friends of mine went to the Bumbershoot Music Festival in Seattle a few years back and saw the Rat City Roller Girls.  They told me all about the awesomeness of roller derby and I had to get involved.  Kitsap County started their own league, the Slaughter County Roller Vixens, and I volunteered to NSO with them.
Date you started with the Jacksonville Roller Girls: June 2010
Favorite derby moment during a bout: Slaughter County has an amazing jammer, On’Da Sligh.  During one jam, she zoomed to front of the pack and collided with the lead blocker.  They both went down, but On’Da threw her hands out in front and ended up doing a hand spring, maintaining her position in front of the pack.  By far the most amazing thing I have seen in derby.
Favorite derby moment during an after party: It was a Halloween themed after party, and I was dressed as a gay abortion doctor.  I drank beers with another guy dressed as the Pope.
Favorite after party drink: PBR
Favorite bout you played in: Western Regional Championships 2009, Derby on the Rocks.  There is nothing like being at a championship tournament.  The energy is incredible and the derby is top notch.
What are your favorite skates: I don’t skate.  My favorite pen is the Zebra F-402.
What are your favorite wheels: I don’t skate.  My favorite scientist is Albert Einstein. He was one smart Jew.
Do you have a derby wife: Nope, I’m derby single!
What should your fans know about you: That I am awesome.
